Just place & activate the Cavius alarm inside your handbag, laptop bag or rucksack. If the bag is picked & moved, or if someone is rummaging in your bag and the movement lasts longer than 5 seconds, the alarm will make a warning beep. This gives you a chance to deactivate the alarm if it is an accident. If the alarm is not deactivated and movement continues it will emit a piercing 130 decibal noise that will attract attention and deter the thief.
This is perfect for when you are attending a conference, protecting your handbag in the office, at a cafe or bar, you are snoozing at the airport or you are sharing a backpacker room.
Instant Door Alarm
Our daughter was recently staying in a hotel room when during the night someone entered the room using a stolen pass key. The Cavius alarm is great for protecting you against this scenario. Just activate the alarm and hang it on the door handle, or place against the door. If someone opens your room door, the alarm will instantly go off - alerting you and scaring off the intruder.. This is ideal in accommodation with no locks, or poor qaulity locks. Also gives additional comfort to anyone travelling alone on business or pleasure.
Optical Smoke Detector
The Cavius alarm includes an optical smoke detector which activates when smoke enters the smoke chamber. The smoke detector is great if you are staying in cabins, tents, a boat, or if you are just not sure if the accommodation has adequate fire detection equipment. You can have the smoke detector and the instant door alarm on at the same time for double protection.
Personal Attack Alarm
Last, but by no means least, the Cavius personal attack alarm function can be used as a deterrent against would be attackers. Ideal if you are walking alone from the office, library, train etc. to your car or home. Great for also taking out with you when walking or jogging on your own.
