The cards are designed by local New Zealand artists and the handmade paper created by NZ papermakers from 100% recycled paper and cotton.

During the papermaking process the paper is embedded with the highest quality herb (Basil) seeds. When the seeded paper is planted into the garden the paper bio-degrades, leaving the seeds behind, and within 4-6 weeks Basil start to grow creating a lasting memory for the recipient. The cards have a shelf-life of up to two years and each card has planting instructions on the back.

The cards are approximately 9 cm x 7 cm and and are left blank inside for you to write your own message.
